  • South African Sumac

    I was on my way somwhere else when I saw several of these trees in the median of a boulevard. It had been manicured and trimmed, but still had a very interesting shape and character.  Its in Hercules, CA

  • Point Isabel Cypress

    Point Isabel is the place to take your dog for an outing. From there looking West out to the San Francisco Bay there are some Cypress growing. It was a real challenge to draw this complex tree.

  • Trail Corner Oak

    SOLD

    This is one main branch of an Live Oak on Sobrante Ridgeat a corner of Heavenly Ridge Trail as it leans over nearly horizontally.

  • Two Redwoods

    Two Coastal Redwoods from the senior center in Crockett, CA. Probably sisters or twins from the original tree.  The second generation trees tend to grow in a circle around the mother tree.

  • White Oak in Hercules

    This is only part of the top of a huge White Oak across the street from Hercules High School.  My friend, Mikey, told me about it.  When I faced the tree and stretched my arms out, the tree was wider than that at the base.

  • Conifer Top

    I am not sure what kind of tree this is, so I called it a conifer. The top was visible behind some houses in Crockett, CA.
