Probably most Bay Area Artists have painted or photographed this boat, but this is my first time.  It fit the theme with the previous abandoned boat from China Camp and I had been thinking of doing it for awhile. Boats seem to remind me that we are all in the same one. Its sometimes precarious, dangerous, sometimes beautiful, or thrilling.

After a doctors appointment, I came out of the building into the parking lot at El Cerrito Plaza. I looked up and saw some fast moving and interesting clouds.  I had been thinking of painting a cloudscape since seeing Georgia O'Keefe's clouds at the De Young Museum.
